- Andrea followed up with Janet on letter of interest for open commission seats. Janet has been officially voted in as Borough Secretary. Janet also mentioned getting a one pager / explanation of Planning Commission.
- Action Item: Andrea to get Planning Commission blurb or sync with Joe if she cannot locate it.
· Borough Comprehensive Planning – Joe to format action matrix into a simplified version
- Action Item: Joe will have for next meeting August 12th
- Target Timeline:
- Planning commission meeting August 12th
- Council work Session August 19th for discussion
- If no issues, vote for council September 2nd
- If issue, review/edits Planning Commission September 9th
· Rutledge LCAP – Sid to reformat similar to Comp Plan
- Action Item:
- Add to agenda to be reviewed in July 15th Council Work Session
- Add to eNews opportunity to design LCAP poster, reach out to Rutledgecommunications@gmail.com if interested.
· Grants Research – Rutledge Resiliency Hub
o Status of outreach to USDN Resiliency Hub – Sean and Joe connected offline. They reviewed the guide, which is very comprehensive.
- Need to create the “Rutledge-sized” version and have carefully planned steps.
- Need to ensure each step is defensible.
- Including consideration for who will manage the transformation as well as final state.
o Potential survey for gathering of data. Additional considerations for under-represented groups.
o General Process:
- Assessing vulnerability, select service area.
- Establish team for the process (e.g. utility representative, politician/community leaders, etc.)
- Identify the correct location.
- Define the solutions needed.
- Develop site and install solutions.
- Activating the site (Different statuses: Normal, Disruption, Recovery)
- Action Item: Joe and Sean to engage with USDN rep.
· Rutledge Participation in the CPRG (Climate Pollution Reduction Grants) Program
o Status of Joe outreach to DVRPC (Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission) Contact – no progress, no response yet.
o Action Item: Joe will reach out again.
· Borough Hall Plan – any additional input or discussions?
- Community Engagement Session completed and 25+ survey responses received. Building committee is reviewing this.
- Upcoming dedicated session in H2/24 will pull in the community as well as stakeholders such as SPD, MRFC, perhaps county officials.
- Consideration for traffic increase as coupled with potential changes to the Chambers Memorial Church. Would need to consider if a study would be required.

- Borough Hall Plan: Planning Commission could potentially examine and propose a Governance Process.
