There have been a few attempted and one actual break-in in Rutledge in the last few days. Â These have happened in the daytime when the residents are not home. Â I urge you to make sure your doors and windows are locked if you are not home. Â Also, make sure your cars are locked at night.
As always, call 911 if you see anything or anyone that looks suspicious or out of place. Â Don’t be afraid to call 911, the police encourage it. Â The Swarthmore PD is aware and is on top of the situation. Â Just follow these few instructions, be alert, and everything will be alright. Â Rutledge residents take care of one another and we also have a great Police Department. Â I’m sure this will have a good ending.
