§19-101. Prohibitions.
It is hereby unlawful for any person, individual, firm, corporation, association, partnership and/or other legal entity to post, secure, fasten and/or attach in any manner any printed, painted and/or written sign, poster, showbill, placard, circular and/or advertisement of any description whatsoever upon any pole, whether owned by a public utility company or not, tress and/or any stationary object abutting any public street, public thoroughfare and/or public way within the Borough of Rutledge. Permitted exceptions to the aforesaid prohibition shall be traffic control signs of any kind duly placed along any public thoroughfare and/or public way by the Borough of Rutledge or the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, judicial notices and/or public notices from any governmental body or agency.

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision of this Part shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine not to exceed $1,000 plus costs and, in default of payment of said fine and costs, to imprisonment for a term not to exceed 30 days. Each day that a violation of this Part continues shall constitute a separate offense.
