Spring Clean-Up! Bring Your Rakes – Mar 21st & Mar 28th!

 

 

 

Spring is almost here and it’s time to get some cleaning done! Here is your opportunity to get your hands dirty with your friends and neighbors while giving something back to your community. In our continuing effort to turn to the community when possible and to keep borough overhead costs under control, we are planning our volunteer ball field and park cleanups for Saturday, March 21st and also Saturday March 28th, if needed. 

 

Yikes! That’s right around the corner! It’s just two hours of helping out, from 10 am to 12 pm and then you can return home all aglow, knowing you have made the world… and Rutledge… a better place. OK … maybe that’s a little over the top, but we can use all the help we can get and Rutledge will supply Coffee, Juice, Bagels and or Doughnuts for any who can attend. 

 

So bring your rakes, shovels, work gloves and your family and demonstrate what community service is all about to the youth of our Borough. It’s critical that this work gets done as our Easter Egg Hunt in the park is coming up on March 29th and our Girls Club Softball Teams are ready to start practicing.
